Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong!

Lifeless Planet, a suspenseful exploration-focused 3D adventure game in which you explore what appears to be a forgotten Russian off-world colony, is available on GOG.com for $19.99.

Alone in a wasteland, his fellow astronauts missing and his oxygen tank leaking, the astronaut’s situation turns desperate. He begins to explore the planet for his missing crew members... only to discover a deeper mystery: an abandoned Soviet-era laboratory. Was his mission a hoax? Is this really an extra-solar planet or has he been shuttled to a lonely region of Siberia as part of a deceptive propaganda stunt?

Lifeless Planet is a new 3D PC action-adventure that puts players in the moon-boots of a volunteer astronaut on a one-way mission to a life-bearing planet far outside our solar system. But after a rough landing, the promise of a new Earth soon fades with the discovery that the planet he was to explore is now barren and inhospitable. You'll follow a mysterious young woman as she guides you past dangerous terrain and deadly life forms, as you explore 20 unique and atmospheric environments on a vast and treacherous planet. You'll experience an exciting and intriguing story through rich graphics and cinematic cut-scenes, while investigating the startling discovery of an abandoned Russian space colony.

If you're looking for a memorable, otherworldly gaming experience, make sure to pick up Lifeless Planet, for $19.99, DRM-Free on GOG.com.
Interesting that this game arrived here, I didn't expect it partially because I thought it was still in Early Access.
Vow!!!!!! Never expected to see this here. One of the few adventure games I would play.

Anybody who is not sure about this game. Check some gameplay videos on Youtube. It really has a good story. Its really something new.

I decided to wishlist it for now since my budget is quite tight at the moment.

I see that the publisher for this game is Kiss - the same one as for Z - so there is a chance for that game now.

three words: first-person plattforming
Looks really interesting, reminds me of Journey which I loved. Will definitely check this out, but only after a sale. Call me a skeptic but I never buy any PC games at full price any more.

Except that the game is clearly in third person. ;)

Darvond: So...its Journey with Cosmonauts?
No, it's an astronaut. You can see the flag of the USA on his oxygen tank in the screenshots.
I think Witcher III and GOG Galaxy stole a lot of the attention this title should deserve...
...like that it showed up here!
The Story in short:

American Astronauts are sent on a decade Voyage to a newly discovered, supposedly Earthlike planet. When they arrive at the planet in stasis the craft somehow crashlands on the planet and surprise the planet is not green its a desert. So what happened with the planet? One Astronaut - thats you - awakes and finds nobody around. He goes exploring and finds a soviet passport in the ground and then he sees very old power lines which he follows and gets to an old soviet town. There it gets interesting with the discovery of a secret base and some strange green stuff. Not saying more or the story will be spoiled.

"Cosmonaut" in Russian has the same meaning as "Astronaut". There is no difference between those two words, when Russians refer to USA astronauts they call them American cosmonauts. I never understood why English speakers insist on separating those two words. Chinese also have their own word (Taikonaut, I think) for it, but their guys are simply referred to as Chinese astronauts in English language.

Come to think of it, Cosmonaut is more accurate term because those guys travel trough outer space (cosmos), no one ever travelled to a star (astra)

looks cool, but $20 sounds kinda steep...
Wow, this game looks awesome. Lately, I've seen a live Twitch on this game (about 1 hour), and it looks just awesome with a very unique climax. Wishlisted !
More OLD Games Please. I own half of the Catalogue of GOG but lately Im missing some good OLD Games!
Best,
D
This looks incredible. Wishlisted! :)
I've tried the beta of this game and was completely stunned by its otherworldly beauty. My portemonnaie will not be pleased, but I think I'll have to buy this one right away, I just love atmospheric exploration games.
Wow. The trailer is great. It evokes vibes of Another World and the Solaris movie (the original one, not the remake).
