I was wondering if we can get some moderation on reviews, because its become a whine fest. The review section isnt for people to comment on other peoples reviews, if you dont like someones opinion debate it on the forums not post comments in review spaces, it clogs it up for people looking for feedback.

I agree with this. So it's got my approval

Yes. I'm not a fan of hearing about people whine about negative reviews, but if the negative reviewer (Jerry) genuinely didn't enjoy it, let them express that opinion. So please take out irrelevant reviews.

Couldn't agree more, let's also get rid of those one line reviews such as 9.99 is too much for this game don't buy 1 star
Why not just put this in the Features Wishlist? That's the whole purpose of it.
Like this is news, GOG reviews have been a whinefest for underages with incorrect spelling and grammar since.... well forever.
Rather than posting /signed, if you agree with this, please go and vote for it.

EDIT: Whoops. Didn't mean to lock this. Sorry.

Is there a way to put some users on Ignore when situations like this crop up, as an interim measure?

I was wondering if someone had already created a site feature request! Thanks for the link, TheEnigmaticT!

Yeah, we've been talking about this for a while, but I think it really reared its ugly head when Conflict: Desert Storm and Apache Longbow were released. Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm sick and tired of people spamming the review pages with one-line one-star comments that have no bearing on the game at all.
Moderation for reviews is a must.

Go take a look at Syndicate, the number of one star reviews stating "THIS GAME REQUIRES ORIGIN; NO BUY" nonsense.
Or Advent Rising, which is filled with advertisement:
