The Roguelikelike Bundlelike promo that will be starting later today lists Sword of the Stars Gold Edition as an included game. I've purchased the base game, Mindgames DLC, and Gold Edition upgrade (all parts of the Gold Edition 'bundle') but the Gold Edition is not marked as owned in the catalog. The site allows me to place the Gold Edition in my cart without marking it as a gift despite the fact that I would gain nothing from buying it.
Is the Roguelikelike Bundlelike promo going to be broken for those in this situation? Will the promo require that all games be selected to receive the maximum discount? If we uncheck the Gold Edition from the list of promo games because we already own the individual parts, will our discount be reduced?
These pseudo-bundles like SotS Gold Edition, which provide only whatever products the buyer lacks, giving no gift codes or additional discount for parts already owned, should be eliminated. They are confusing for customers (see the release thread for SotS Gold Edition) and apparently problematic for GOG itself to implement in an intuitive manner (as mentioned, the catalog displays Gold Edition as unowned despite owning all parts).
