I recently downloaded Command & Conquer:Tiberian Sun and I'm loving it.
I want to download Red Alert and I heard that it's very cheesy and B movie like.
how much B movie is it and is it worth the time?

It's as B-movie like as Tiberian Dawn is (the fist game.) It's got worse graphics since it's older, and the game is also bloody brilliant. And it's free, so why don't you just go ahead and try?

This much B-movie like. You also get to notice the soundtrack. It's quite exquisite.

I think you should download all the free C&C games and try them. Unless of course you have a really slow connection or tight data caps.

You don't lose out much, and the older games are quite fun.

The first is pretty serious in tone (for the subject matter, anyway). It's not until RA2 that it becomes pure B-movie camp, and it was virtually a parody of itself in RA3.
