CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference live tomorrow at 5:00 PM GMT

People say it is not spring until you can plant your foot upon twelve daisies. GOG.com has proven otherwise, and you knew it’s spring after eight daisies already: Legend of Grimrock, Treasure Adventure Game, Trine, The Whispered World, Machinarium, Wing Commander 4, Spacechem, and Darwinia. However, as many a sudden change takes place on a spring day, we’re about to reveal another four amazing daisies tomorrow during CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference.

The harvest of a whole year depends on what you sow in the springtime. And this year, oh boy, we’re into some serious sowing. During CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference we will:
* tell you what has changed on GOG.com in case you missed it
* offer a sneak peek at future GOG.com releases
* give you a special gift as a big, sweet “thank you” to our users

In the context, "daisies" could mean good things in general, not necessarily new releases. Have to wait and see what they are I guess.

Merchito: I'm not familiar enough with English to understand what means "daisies" in this context. I guess it's synonym of good surprises :) You are sure it can mean "releases", Dreadz? (I trust you should know, since you are an English speaker.)

Nergal01: It's a simple metaphor. GOG referred to the two games released on Tuesday as "daisies". So, unless they're mixing up their metaphors here, it would seem like we either:
- get 4 releases later today
or
- we get 4 big pieces of news.

Well, Facebook and Twitter basically admitted that there will be releases (plurai!) later today, so I'll go with the first interpretation for now.

1:00 pm EDT is Eastern Daylight savings Time which is just a way of saying normal EST +1 hour for those who don't live in the states and deal with the +1 hour time difference in the spring and the -1 hour one in the fall.

So yeah 1:00pm EST

Technically, it's *noon* EST when we start. Because that's 1:00 EDT.

But if you're in the States, you almost certainly are using EDT at the moment.

Gee they could of held it at a more convenient time of the day in the morning or earlier in afternoon... (going to be 3am here lol)

The previous paragraph called the 8 recently released games "daisies"
It also said that you need 12 daisies for spring and that during the conference they will reveal 4 more daisies. It seems logical to me that this means games.

However they can also simply announce today 4 games that will come later to GOG. That is also a possibility.

It's going to be an inconvenient time *somewhere* no matter when we hold it. Sorry that Australia gets the sticky end of the wicket, though.
