amok: but it is certainly not going to hurt to have goodwill as well, does it? all it takes it to be civil and mature. You then have the option to work with goodwill, or against it - why would you make it harder? And what is wrong about being civil when it is something you want also - it is just common decency.
edit - and seems so far that the amount of money the "DRM free revolution" has spent so far is not enough, or the revolution would have been won by now.... or even exist... .
Decency is great, but it's not productive to pretend like they're not being dickish. Failing to call them out on it is just enabling the behavior. If they can't be bothered to be mature about it, they deserve the black eye. Pretty much the only thing that companies care about are profits and PR.
