In Deus Ex, I sometimes like equipping my sniper rifle with a silencer, then I can sneak around and be the silent assassin. Just feels awesome for some reason.

Or I'll just go around using explosives. Because explosives are awesome.

The best way is usually the goriest one. Manhunt had plenty of that (some of the machete kills were spectacular), Condemned was remarkable in that aspect too, but probably more regarding the visceral combat than the kills. And of course there is Dead Space where cutting off limbs was major part of the game (and it was so satisfying).
