Hey folks, I haven't been around much in the forums since the summer sale started. Work has been real steady lately, and I didn't want to get way behind like I did during the Insomnia sale due to spending so much time in the tracker thread. Thanks to Sinistar for again running a tracker thread for the summer sale.
Anyway, some of you may have caught word that I had planned a summer sale. This is it. It's not as gigantic as I'd hoped, as I'm saving to take my family on our first family vacation. Still, it's the largest giveaway that I personally have done.
The reason for this is celebrating a very eventful summer for me:
- Hitting more than 200 rep
- My 30th birthday (May 14th)
- My first wedding anniversary (July 15th)
- My son's first birthday (August 13th)
To help me celebrate all of this of this, I wanted to give away some games for free to spread the happiness that I have found in my life. I still play games almost every day, and besides my wonderful family and a job that I love, games are what keep me happy.
Here is what is what I have available for you all to choose from:
- The recently removed ARMA collection which includes ARMA: Cold War Assualt, ARMA Gold Edition, and ARMA 2: Combined Operations
- The Runaway colection which includes Runaway: A Road Adventure, Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle, and Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate
- Democracy 3
- SimCity 4 Deluxe
- S2: Silent Storm Gold Edition
- ***The Witcher 3 GOG Pre-Order with ALL the bonuses and Neverwinter Nights
- ***Neverwinter Nights
I'll also be offering 3 Grand Prizes:
1st grand prize is $20 or less of GOG games
2nd grand prize is $15 or less of GOG games
3rd grand prize is $10 or less of GOG games
Rules and Qualifications
I'm not a big fan of rules, but I'm even less of a fan of scammers. That said, I'll try to keep this brief.
You must have a join date prior to June 4th, 2014. You must also have at least 10 rep. If you feel that your rep is low because of neg-rep trolls, you may still enter but mention that in either your post or PM and I'll decide if your entry will be valid. You may not enter for other people (just because it makes tallying that much more difficult). You also may not gift away what you are given, you must redeem them yourself.
The games in the collections cannot be given away individually.
You may enter for the grand prizes, any number of games, or both. Just be clear in your post what you would like.
This giveaway will run until sometime on Saturday, June 28th, that way the grand prize winners will hopefully have made their decisions as to what they want before the sale ends, so they get a good haul.
