Escape from Rungistan

Don't laugh, it's very Macgyver-esk. The only problem is the game is almost as old as I am.

wizardtypething: Aww hells yeah; Don't Starve is awesome.

That's a comfortable +1 from me.
I'll put in another vote for Don't Starve.
@Licurg, looks too much hardcore for my tastes

@fenixp, humm, I was thinking in things like needing to scavenge food or maybe building a shelter

@F4LL0UT, already finished with a poisonous wakisashi...

@Ralackk, I backed them, but don't know how is the atual version

@tinyE, will be difficult to find and play this one, I guess, :)
Don't know if you're only searching for PC games - but for the NDS there is the Lost in Blue series, which is heavy on the survival aspect.

Only PC, I don't have any console

I'd like to add a vote for 'Don't Starve' regardless of what the thread is about. For that matter I'd like to add, 'Don't Drowned', 'Don't Catch on Fire', and 'Don't Jump Out of a Plane With No Parachute On' to the list.

You already have Terraria and Minecraft which are the most famous in this genre, I can advice you to take a look at or even try Don't starve, I know it does look like the ones above, but it does has its own "personality", you can try the demo on google chrome for free, try it out, it's worth it.

Nah, that's Don't Starve. On the other hand, Miasmata has a much better exploration element. Can't have everything :-P

It's a game, buddy ;-)

Not even for a Loop Zook?

I can think of at least 14 reasons why I should do all of those things.
Don't Starve looks interesting but isn't like Minecraft/Terraria where you can't explore more than a few minutes without being surronded by enemies?

Lame. The only right way to kill a zombie is gibbing it with a massive electric charge.
One more thread inadvertently derailed by myself. :D Thank you!

BTW that Loop Zook video wasn't nearly half as silly as the average stunt in your average Jason Statham movie.
