I just think everyone should play SS2! So as it's discounted I thought I'd do a cheap giveaway.

To enter, just post a link to a local news story to share with the GOG community. It can be anything at all as long as it's current. If you're uncomfortable with divulging your location it's fine to choose a region that you visit or have visited recently.

Entries by 14th Dec @ 9pm GMT (London) and winner will be chosen by random.org
An hour and nobody posted for this? I already have it but I can't let this continue.

No news in English about my place, though, as far as I know. Plus most news are quite political around my area, so they can be... debatable. Or rather, they tend to arise arguments more often than not. But I can still post something if you wish.

Good point. It doesn't have to be in English thanks to Google Translate. Why not post a debatable story? Go for it!

To clarify, it needn't be a huge, international issue. Even a cat being rescued from a tree will do!
I tried posting earlier like five times actually but to no avail. I have heard a lot about SS2 but still haven't gotten a chance to play it so thanks a lot for this giveaway. :)

Here's an interesting news piece:

Fine. The thing is, when I look at the online newspaper, this is what I see when I get local:

- Basque youngsters still on trial for being on an independentist youth organization
- We are seriously considering to illegalize the Basque independentist political party (again)
- [url)http://paperekoa.berria.info/harian/2013-12-12/011/001/Barne_ministroa_neurriak_hartzeko_prest_hezkuntzan_infiltra_ez_daitezen_terroristak_.htm]Teachers under investigation to prevent infiltration by Basque terrorists into the classrooms[/url]

It all can be summarized as, "Spanish government will keep smashing anything remotely related to independentism, and not relent on their fight against terrorism even if the actual terrorism stopped years ago". Add the economic situation to that, and yeah, who cares about a cat being rescued from a tree?
Okay, here you go:

I have played all the bioshock's and am curious about their predecessor.

It took me forever to find a story that wasn't downright depressing, all the stories except this one were about shootings and court sentence's.

It won't let me post a link just look up Seattle times High court upholds $12.75m award to ex-Seattle Firefighter.
