Because of the Sale this weekend I was doing some research on Telltale and found out that they released a Bone Game back in 2005.
I have never played the game but the comic book was really awesome so I was wondering if Bone is going to be released on GOG any time soon. I believe most Telltale titeles are on here.
Any ideas?

I wish I had an answer for you, but what games Telltales is allowed to/chooses to release on GOG seems somewhat arbitrary. There could be obstacles with the license holders, for example. The best you can do for now is vote for the games on the wishlist and write to Telltale via e-mail, Twitter, and/or Facebook to ask them about bringing the game here. I know I'd like to see those games here as well, I played the demo back in the day and though it was a very enjoyable game.

You forgot the 'R'.
I don't even think THEY sell Bone any more. I think they lost the license to Warner Bros., who were going to develop a tie-in game for the Bone movie. Of course, I'm pretty sure that was five years ago at this point.

Did you ask the Joker?
I have the DVD version of Telltale's Bone games behind me on the shelf and the digital backups on my online Telltale account page.
Let me see if the store still lists it though...

well I'll be, it is indeed no longer on their store page.

Hmmm 'Tales From the Borderlands'?, interesting.
They lost the license.
I actually thought awhile it was already on here at one point.

It won't be released anywhere anymore, as they no longer have rights to use Bone characters.

The only three options of having it on sale again are:

1) Renegotiating the rights for Bone IP.

2) Waiting for Bone IP to become Public Domain in 50-150 years (depending on which country's laws apply).

3) Removing all Bone characters and themes from the game and replacing them with original creations. In which case it would be a Bone series which never was completed and without any Bone references, so incomplete series with replaced content, but at least it would be legally OK to sell it...

As all options seem unlikely to actually happen, most likely these games will never be sold again.

Both of them vere pretty interesting, but they were insanely short (2hrs to complete) and I guess their market target were children. I'd say nothing to regret then.

If you live in Germany, it should be easy for you to obtain the disc version via or [url=http://www.amazon.de/Bhv-Bone-Flucht-aus-Boneville/dp/3828761585/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1389872990&sr=1-1&keywords=boneville]Amazon, for less than 5 euros even, and if I recall correctly the German retail version is multi-language, also allowing you to play with English voiceovers. On Amazon.com though, it seems you'd have to shell out at least $50 for a used copy (and $120 for a new one). O_o

Wow, nice! Thank you so much. +1
I didn´t even think of buying a physical copy.
I just ordered both games from ebay for around 7 euros.

And this is why copyright laws are stupid. Imho after 10 years everything should become public domain.
If you have one of those you could just cover it up with your text books, stay seated and try to wait it out, or whip it out and take care of it the quick way.
I waited YEARS for them to have the game on sale again so I could get the physical copies. Then poof, all gone.

And now they don't even give free disc copies to owners anymore.
