No, Blasphemy would be bitching about the original. A true classic, Terminator 2 is a good film that is about 45 minutes waaaay too long.

One of the worst mistakes you can make is trying to follow a James Cameron movie.

That is EXCATLY what they said to James Cameron about a Ridley Scott movie. That worked out okay.

Then Ridley Scott went ahead and made a follow up to Silence of the Lambs. The circle of life :P

Oh yeah. That did suck didn't it. In all fairness that's after Ridley had is 'collapse'. I'm not sure of my timing here but he last movie he did that I really loved was "Gladiator" but I'm not sure if that was before "Hannibal". Point bine everything he used to make was great now everything he makes is shit.

Now that I think about it James Cameron has fallen off a little. "Avatar" was okay but when it came out with all the "greatest movie ever" hype I expected a little more than just a standard action flick with some really great CGI.

Somewhat related - a little over 10 years ago Cameron wanted to direct a 5th Alien movie, and he was collaborating with Sir Ridley. He also was thinking about putting Arnold in the movie.

3 was shit but salvation was good, really wanted to see more of the future when the first terminator came out. Wasnt satisfied by what they made but it was not bad, so hopefully this will be good

I wanted a third film and thoroughly enjoyed it. Best thing you could do is follow a Cameron film... I hate the happy endings he is so fond of. Alien 3 killing everyone off is one of my favourite movie moments.

The man is a poor writter but he sure as shit is a better director then the hack who did T3 or T4

We have a couple of good "Alien", a couple of good "Terminator"... Of course then it's going to go jaws IV and Freddy versus jason versus superman. But could we just, you know, like, not pay attention ?

Terminator 2 was pretty badly directed if you ask me. So many unnecessary shite was put in the film.

That really is was nailed it for me. I didn't know anything about the spoilers when I saw it so the little things he did like tying off the gun and pushing out the windshield which were obvious traits the character had passed on was really nice. You could tell he had studied the earlier films.

Yeah definitely. I also particularly liked the message the film made (at least the one I took from it). What really makes a man (or woman, of course) human? Sam's character, and his portrayal, point to one's "heart". Marcus donating his enhanced version to John Connor, so that he may live on, was symbolism of man's ability for compassion, and to put other's well being and lives above their own. The true meaning of Heart. Man certainly has the potential for this, but unfortunately, it sometimes seems more often than not, we are solipsists
