Yeah definitely. I also particularly liked the message the film made (at least the one I took from it). What really makes a man (or woman, of course) human? Sam's character, and his portrayal, point to one's "heart". Marcus donating his enhanced version to John Connor, so that he may live on, was symbolism of man's ability for compassion, and to put other's well being and lives above their own.
