ChaosBahamut: Actually it uses Euphoria, the same physics engine that powered GTA4. Thus, I'm gonna assume you'll need a quad-core CPU. (or at least a very nice dual-core CPU)

Damn, I guess I'd have to upgrade my CPU..which would mean a new motherboard and RAM, too. Augh. I'll probably end up buying this next year.

Already suspected it in the Mac gaming community (yes it exists...) since 1 month.
I'm very glad to see, for once, a Mac porting developper making a long awaited PC/Mac version of a console game. But I will surely not be able to play it on my iMac, too bad.

Arkose: Gee, I guess I'd better start saving up for that "00 high-end system" the producer, Cameron Suey, said would be needed to play this game on high on a PC (seriously).
Oh, and The Force Unleashed uses Havok, not PhysX; Havok has no hardware acceleration. It is very unlikely that they would completely change the physics engine for the PC version just to take advantage of hardware acceleration which only Nvidia users can benefit from anyway.

Only if it's as horrendously (for lack of a much, much stronger word) optimized as GTA4.
By the way, it uses Havok and Euphoria. It uses Euphoria for NPC AI, not for physics.

This is how the Internet is bad, haha.
Also, it is based on Lucas' Ronin engine and uses "Digital Molecular Matter" (DMM) for dynamically destructible objects. :)

No company besides Blizzard really cares about gaming on OS X, least of all Aspyr. From what I've read over the years, Aspyr has a poor track record of releasing lousy ports for OS X. I don't expect the Windows version to be all that well optimised either, but from the way things sound their OS X versions usually end up even worse off.
Paah, I've been unleashing my force since last year on my PS-Triple. I'd say it's worth a buy to anyone who's already played it, but otherwise...
Wait, Hoth is only available to those who buy it again?
Fine, I will drop more bones on LucasArts' front doorstep.

kais246: I personaly get a warm feeling inside when ever console gamers get ripped off. That could just be me though :D

We get ripped off in our own ways. It's about even I guess..

Siannah: Naaah. First the pissed off PC gamers. Now they piss off the consoleros who bought it for 70$, finished it after 4 hours, and now need to put additional money on the table for the "complete" version.
Marketing at it's best.

No, I get that too.

Yeah thats annoying. I'm contemplating holding off on the next DLC and then picking up the super special edition when I can find it cheap on ebay. Maybe even go halves in it with a mate
Hoth is particularly tempting right now since I'm currently watching Empire Strikes Back

Thats why, i suppose consoles are those spoiled little brats that get everything i my eyes lol
Console gamers are arguably getting ripped off more than PC gamers, the low cost of hardware is balanced by the higher cost of games & services not to mention the cost to our psyche when there's high pitched 8 year old dipshits playing gears of war who just won't shut the fuck up and the only words they know are racial slurs
Oh and they're the same ones who give you negative rep when you chainsaw them in half
I think I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed the game, and will likely re-buy the ultimate pack, potentially on PC now, since I'm warming up to the platform.
Damn though, there are a lot of PC elitists here... Bitch and moan that you don't get a game, then when you do get it, you bitch and moan because someone who happens to own a console got to play it too. Then cry that not everything is best suited to a keyboard/mouse...
Probably held a big celebration when The Witcher got canned for consoles too (for example), even though that doesn't affect you in any way.
I'm just extremely miffed that some of my favorite games are console exclusives like Banjo Kazooie, Dead Rising, Armored Core, and Ace Combat.

I can't speak for anyone else but I did in fact hold a little celebration in my room that day.

That's really not very nice. I'm sure CDP weren't celebrating, why should you?
It would've been good for them, and then good for everyone in the end, if you must be selfish about it..

Would have just led to the PC version being dumbed down, always happens when consoles are involved.
