I usually played as the barbarian or the paladin. I can't resist getting up close and personal, bashing the heads in of all the evil minions of the dark lords :-). I have played through with most characters, but I prefer good old hand to hand combat over magic and archery in my RPG games.
I could never see the 3D on the 3DS consoles. I seem to be one of the small percentage of people who can't see the 3D effect. Not that I mind, I am quite happy with my regular old Nintendo DS.

I don't normally use magic in RPGs either. I prefer stealth play. I love climbing up some insane cliff or stalking my prey and then one-shotting them with my bow.

Many thanks to , [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_girls_of_gog_giveaway_no_boys_allowed/post224]Piranjade, , [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_girls_of_gog_giveaway_no_boys_allowed/post228]ddickinson, and [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_girls_of_gog_giveaway_no_boys_allowed/post238]MadyNora for taking the time to entertain my curiosity. I will try to keep my replies brief (no promises).
@gandalfnho: I am curious if the stigma that I was privy to at that time was strictly an American thing. Regardless, I am pleased that you were able to take pride in your interests in spite of other's opinions. That was a very hard thing for me to do when I was younger.
@Piranjade: Interesting. Did you avoid those "mostly male circles" because you were shy? Or were you afraid that they would, as they ended up doing, treat you like a "unicorn"? As for the internet...yeah, it has definitely become the place where prejudice has found a new home. Hopefully, that too will pass out of fashion some day.
@HypersomniacLive: Hmm...again, this makes me curious if the "girls like girly things, boys like boyish things" gender rule that I was concious of in my youth was indeed a regional thing. I certainly didn't imagine it.
@ddickinson: Drat! You found me out! :P
That whole "boys hobby" concept is one I am familiar with and is what inspired me to ask this question. I just wasn't sure if it was society or simple nervousness that was keeping girls out of these "boys clubs" back then.
@Crewdroog: Yeah, I was incredibly shy back then, too. Even as a boy, I might not have gone up to the kids talking about GameBoy either. Thanks, social anxiety! Very cool that your mom was into it, though. My mom used to play Super Mario and Tetris back then, too.
@MadyNora: Gender stereotypes; ruining people's fun since time began. Getting blocked out of a P&P game that's using your books is just criminal. Ten years ago, half of the players in my D&D group were girls. Regardless of the past, I am glad we are (mostly) beyond this silly mentality these days.
Thanks again to everyone above and to anyone else who may still feel inclined to answer!
(EDIT: Added links to previous posts for easy reference.)

Not considered overpowered.
I like him a lot more than his Marvel counterpart Ironman.
But let's be honest:

Probably, I don't like all the constant changes of backgrounds in the comics world, it's just a sign for no ideas for doing something with what you already have and developing it further.

I do not even turn on the 3d function. It makes the game less fun to me. I prefer 2d and I do not think ill change that.

I never knew the 3D feature was optional, I thought it was an always-on feature. I don't use my DS much, I mainly used it to play the Professor Layton and Final Fantasy games.

high rated
I just wanted to share my thoughts here, even though I doubt anyone really cares to read them:P
1. This is DDickinson's GA, therefore she is able to set any rules she likes, if it offends you then start your own giveaway only for those who are cismale. I notice a lot of the people complaining have never even hosted a giveaway, so really you should probably just not have posted anything in this thread at all because you're twice the idiot as you might have been.(If you think I'm referring to you, I probably am.)
2.We live in a world where the status of women is still not equal to the status of men. This is true across all religions, borders, and ethnicities. Get real, fellow dudes.
That's really all I have to say.
