Continuing the birthday giveaway that started Here, today I have up for grabs a copy of Risen 2:Dark Waters

Mark this as the 'weekend edition'. I'll leave this up until Monday, at which point I'll start a new giveaway. This one's a bit different, as it's the first to find the code that gets the game. I suspect it will go fast, but have fun with it anyway. No rules for this one, as there's no way I can control who solves the puzzle, but I'd prefer if you only redeem it if you really want to play the game. So here it is:

Lots of people love 'em, and some hate 'em. Pirates. Virtually none of them hid treasure anywhere though (did anyone know that?). Gold, jewels, and other precious items. Everyone would love to find where they buried it. Two bad it's all a myth.
Knowing that everyone loves a treasure hunt, though, I'm sending you on one if you want this game. Simply be observant and you'll find the treasure. Check carefully though, because it's all in here. Maybe it's too easy, maybe not. Some will likely figure it out right away, but it's first to redeem it that gets the goods, so let's get down to it, shall we?
Eight famous pirate captains, and only one that has the loot. Teach (Blackbeard), Kidd (the only one known to have actually buried treasure), Bonny (one of the few female pirates), Rackham (Calico Jack), Wynn (first to fly the Jolly Roger), Bellamy (Black Sam), Roberts (Black Bart), and Bonnet (The Gentleman Pirate). Note they all operated during the 'Golden Age of Piracy'. Perhaps that's a clue? Just keep at it and you'll find the treasure!

I'll mark the winner with the solution to the thread for a bit of rep boost as well. Good luck and have a good weekend!

I love reading about the Pirate Ages, but not in anyways. :D

Thanks for your generosity, Coelocanth! Have a good one, you too!

Hm, I was trying, but lugum basically just told me to stop before I had killed all my wits in the process.

Thanks though and Happy Birthday! Good weekend as well.

Thank you Coelocanth, after 18 hours it was not redeemed yet apparently.
I wrecked my brains over it yesterday looking at some hidden edited post somewhere like in other pirate games subforums and release threads and gave up eventually just like Chevkoch, i decided to give it one more go today and with a total shot in the dark it worked, seems ol' Blackbeard had the loot.

For anyone wondering about the solution.
The code resulted in every capital letter of the above sentences (except the I from I'm sending though) Two bad was misspelled on purpose being 2 and eight pirates is 8. Only one pirate had the loot and that was the T of Teach. resulting in LPVG-E2KS-CMS8-TNPJ.

Really looking forward to playing this.

Whoa, well done! I gotta remember to look for less complicated solutions I guess.
Well-deserved win, lugum!
Congrats for figuring that out lugum! And have fun playing the game! =)

Thanks again for the GA, Coelcanth!!

Nicely done! I was afraid it would be way too easy, so I'm glad it posed a bit of a puzzle. I'll be back on Monday morning with the next Hobbit's Birthday giveaway.
Nice! I try to find any pattern in piretes names, something common that they shares, but solution was simpler than I thought
