Today is my 50th birthday and since my family and I just watched The Lord of the Rings, I've been thinking about Hobbits. So in the tradition of Hobbits, I've decided I'll give gifts to others as a way to celebrate. I'll be giving gift codes for a few days until they run out, with a new thread each day for each new game code. Rules are simple:

RULES:
1) Please enter only if you intend to play the game. I'd prefer if the game does not sit on your shelf for months/years, so enter only if you're interested in playing it pretty much right away. If you're just looking to collect for your shelf, there are plenty of other ways to fill those spaces.
2) Please do not regift/trade the game. These games are intended to be kept/used by the contest winner.
3) Must have a join date before May 2014.

So... the giveaway:

Today I have up for grabs a copy of System Shock 2. To enter, just state you're in and link to a post of someone with a join date the same as mine (Sept 2008). The caveat: the post cannot be one of your own or one of mine. Contest closes tomorrow morning when I get up. I'll let Random.org decide who wins if there are multiple entries. Oh, and no linking to the same post as a previous entrant (you can link to the same forum member and even a post in the same thread, but not the same post).

Good luck and stay tuned for more giveaways over the next few days.

*As an added 'bonus' I'll mark the winner with the solution to the thread for a bit of rep boost as well.

Those hobbits are generous! Cheers! :)
Rule 4: No admittance except on Party Business.

Happy Birthday Coelocanth, have lovely day!

Not in +1
Not in, happy birthday. +1 ;)
Happy 50th birthday! +1

I was going to be in as I found one but apparently I cannot post links even though I've been a member for about 2.5 years and have purchased over 100 games. Apparently that's not enough to not be considered a bot as I have not posted before and don't have rep, oh well :(
Happy Birthday, not in!! =)

I never considered this problem. Can you copy/paste the address in two parts? Or perhaps copy the link address without the http?
*edit* If that doesn't work maybe you can send me the link via PM.

Hopefully it works.

*edit* yay it worked, Cheers!

Also 50 is a good age to set off on a hobbit adventure (or be pushed into one)!

It works great. Nicely done, and yes, it's a good age to start an adventure!
