What are people's thoughts? Could be good or could be awful http://thewitcher.com/adventuregame/
Impossible to tell without a proper playtest. If it's done by Fantasy Flight, then they do seem to have professionals working on it, so they seem interested in producing a good board game in its own right (as opposed to a quick cash grab on a successful IP). Also means that it won't come cheap, though.

(I'm hungry. I'm sleepy. I wonder what is the meaning of life? Oh look, a funny cat video. Fuck, internet's out again! I'm sleepy. Let's check gog. Heh, I can make a funny quote here. Right bracket aaaaand... post. Fuck, internet's out again!)
It looks pretty good. Granted, there's very little we can say about it right now, but I have good feelings. Also, from what I heard, the guy working on the game (Ignacy Trzewiczek - I dare you all non-Polish speakers, try to pronounce his name :)) is well known in Polish RPG/boardgame community and seems to know what he's doing.
Like the Witcher computer game it probably won't run on my OS. :D

He has worked on some terrific board games in the past. Couple that with FFG publishing, and The Witcher is definitely getting a top notch team involved in developing this game.

I concur, FFG component value paired with the gameplay mechanics of a Trzewiczek design should indicate a solid game.
