(Not everyone will care about this, and that's fine.)

This evening I "acquired" Sim Theme Park/Theme Park World to test it out on Win. 7, as well as installing nGlide to see if it would improve the experience. (Believe me that this is strictly out of curiosity.) My continued understanding is that the game is compatible with 3Dfx.

Unfortunately the game doesn't seem to run well even with nGlide installed. The animation "chugs"/starts and stops with the "3D Device" enabled in the Sim Theme Park options menu.

Software rendering runs perfectly fine from what I can tell (I have 4 gigs of RAM which probably helps) and doesn't even seem to look that much different from "3D Device" (except for the water animation). Of course, if it's released on GOG, I think we'd want GOG to ensure that 3Dfx works fine.
I also have Win 7 and some time ago I tried to run the game but I only succeeded with Virtual Machine + Win 98. The game kept crashing every hour or so but so it did in 2000 when I bought it...
