...introduce regional pricing, I would think. GOG knows breaking one of their core values would end themselves in a bad position with their community. They wouldn't do this on purpose... so wouldn't you think that they're hiding something from us? Something more legally important, like say, if they told us, they got sued? I don't know how legalities and such work, but I'm 70% sure they're hiding something from us because if they told, they would be in trouble. Something saying they didn't want to switch, but they had to to stay around...

Do you think so, or do you disagree?

We could derail this one, not that I've ever done anything like that before. *cough*

I do see where you're coming from. I would hope this doesn't go on for too long as well, but I wanted to know if people had gave that a little thought. I mean, surely GOG noticed the overwhelmingly negative feedback, and what kind of company do you know wouldn't address that without some sort of legal barrier?
EDIT: OH my, I did not see anywhere near that many threads about it! Well, I apologize for wasting your time, and I will get to reading those :D

to your question, Zenimax (Bethesda) for one, they went with the "We'll ride out this storm of pitchforks & torches" approach

That's true, but who's keeping track of these threads anyway?
This one was actually just ill-timed, nothing to do with regional pricing.

Shaolin_sKunk: This one was actually just ill-timed, nothing to do with regional pricing.
true true :P my mistake
You didn't have to...

...split the thread title, I would think.
Business wise it's costing GOG too many popular titles which are already DRM-free anyway. That's my view on it at least, with Kickstarted games being as popular as they are and already DRM-free in a lot of cases, but not necessarily open to 1 world 1 price
Has this thread been derailed yet?
