Some of you may have noticed lately that I have both been posting much, much less frequently, and that the tone of my posts have changed very much.

Some of you long-timers like myself know me. I estimate there is a 70/30 split between those who dislike me, and those who don't. Of course, many of you know that much of my "trolling" as you call it was intentional. The "Anjohl" you have known during my GOG stay was mild in comparison to past outings, believe it or not! Of course, there are parts of me in my online persona, both positive and negative. People who know me in real life AND online quickly learn that I DO have a bit of fun with people online, "taking the piss out of them" so to speak.

In the past, I used this site as a primary entertainment source, long after I had all but stopped PC gaming. These days, many, many things in my life are changing, and will likely continue to change. I have opened a small business, and my hobbies have changed to account for my dwindling free time.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful people I have known digitally on this site, from all over the world. That includes some of my favorite foils such as Navagon and Bansama. The global nature of the community is humbling, and reminds me that we are all so alike, yet so different. Our love of great art, in this case games, brought us together.

Personally, I stopped gaming for a while after I opened my business, and I then picked up console gaming again, and I rarely even play that these days. I have been coming back to GOG perhaps once a month just to check in, and I have not been engaging at all.

I miss the days when GOG was Good Old Games, when the site was a carefully curated "Criterion Collection" of the best the medium had to offer from the past. My interest waned when the site broadened to include modern indy games, and then AA and A titles.

So, with my complete lack of engagement with both the sites product, and the community, I will bid you all adieu. I had started doing giveaways to give back to the community as my income rose, and now I will disperse the last of these here, free for the taking. I would hope that some civil discussion over who should get what will occur, but we all know that likely the first person to see the code will take it. So, gog'ers, see you around!

System Shock 2: (A fitting final giveaway!)

Primordia, Miasmata, Torchlight, Penumbra Collection, Sword of the Stars:

good luck to you.
Good luck and thanks for the giveaway too :)
It is sad to see people leave, especially those who've been here for quite a while and whom I've come to "know".

Best of luck to your business and future endeavours.
As we say here, go slowly but come back quickly, take care.

Don't forget the 90% who don't know you! :P With that readjustment of numbers it's more like 7% who dislike you now <3
