I was pretty excited about this. The little write-up he did for the post is definitely worth the read.

I read that this was coming, and you're right, I figure a lot of people on here would be interested. Thanks for sharing with us.
Yeah, I saw this at work but didn't have the time to look at it properly (and where exactly one could grab it from).
Interesting stuff these design-docs.
I guess I should download it for later reading, but I have only made it halfway through the game and am hoping I can buy it here to finish it someday. Thanks for the post though, because I will definitely enjoy reading this someday. Schafer is really someone to look up to in the realm of game design.
That is awesome, thanks for the heads up!
Sweet....

That was beyond words!!! Thanks for leting us know!! :)
Seems like the post was taken down. Hope it didn't fall into some grey area of copyright with Lucas Arts. For time being Google Cache still has the post available. If it was taken down for copyright reasons I find it odd that the direct link to the pdf still works.

Nice. Now lets hope that this doesn't go away! I promise to distribute if it does though, one way or another.
I haven't downloaded it yet, been busy playing fallout 3 and fiddling with fallout tactics.. so if it does go away, I'll be looking forward to someone re-upping it.
You can still download it from Kotaku. They mirrored it in a post and I just got it, so it still works.

Must admit I never played i and didn't have the incentive. People raved about it but it never appealed to me. Maybe, if they released it now on GOG, I may give it a go.
