That's great but he doesn't seem to mention GOG that much in his videos even when GOG has a sale. I only see videos about Steam sales. Why not do a video about GOG sales?

he is unfortunately very Steam centric I think (he does like his old classics though) he rarely mentions indie sales either.

The great irony being that he has no particular love for Steam, and he's railed against Valve on more than one occasion.
Well, Steam is where he gets most of his games from, and since games are his job he is using Steam on a daily basis. It's little surprising that he would give Steam most of his attention. I just wish he (or however is responsible) would at least mention and put up links to GOG or the developer's site when a game he WTF'ed is not Steam-exclusive. Steam is already getting more than enough publicity, the alternatives need it more.
It's probably just that the majority of his current audience wants to hear about Steam. I agree that some mentions to GOG now and then wouldn't hurt.

He has? Hasn't he said that the games he play-tests are mostly (if not all) Steam keys?
I *think* i do remember him mentioning if a game is available on various sites at least. Not sure if he mentions dev sites specificially much at all though

I think he buys most of his stuff, but he does get press copies as well... probably 99% steam keys

That's not true actually, he does like Steam, he just thinks it has its flaws and he has no qualms highlighting them.
TB has to cater to his main constituency, who happen to be Steam-users, and thus only follows with some regularity Steam sales. Which occasionally does his viewers a disservice, as he missed, for example, both HIB9 and WB. Still, he only has so much time...

I think he mentioned somewhere that he speaks alot about Steam because its the biggest and most gamers see the promotions on Steam front page -> thus he makes videos about the brand new games and releases, instead of old classics.

Also i think he mentioned there are lots of people doing lets play videos of old games, but not so many people doing first impressions/review of the brand new (indie) games -> thus as he is doing it for business, it makes sense to do content that no one else is making so much, yet people are aware of those game ads on steam.

Or something like that - just vague memories.
