These guys are one of the few game development studios I can think of who haven't lost their well-honed knack for game design over the last (almost-)two decades. I don't know how they do it without falling apart into the shit-pool of decline that has claimed so many other development studios in recent times, but maybe it has to do with the fact they've remained a (relatively) small operation which seems to take careful time to get their games made, rather than rushing for unreasonable deadline after unreasonable deadline. I'm speculating, of course, but they've definitely been doing something right.
I've yet to play a Treasure game that wasn't very well-polished from everything from gameplay that remains consistently fun, with a solid visual and audio style to their presentation. Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga, Sin & Punishment, Gradius V... all of these games are worth checking out even if you aren't usually into shmups or action games.
Here's wishing for many more years of Treasure making games.
