What is needed to stop your account showing the 'updated' notifications? it keeps showing a white'1' on a red background and not sure why it never goes away after a period of time. Even clicking on the updated game doesn't turn its updated flag off.

It needs about an hour after clicking on the updated game.

I think that it disappears after some time, but I'm not really sure.

Hmm, then I suppose you need to navigate (not download) to the potentially updated part like a Mac version or a different language.

I have an annoying 20, but I don't want to click on games with new, until I'll be able to download them on a new hdisk..

Well, otherwise I will confuse what I have already downloaded and what not (the "new" icon disappears if I click).

You actually need to navigate to what specifically about a game got updated (including different languages and operating systems for installers). Only then will the countdown for the notification to go away start.

Keep in mind that during heavy traffic, the system chokes and it may take longer for the notification to go away, and it may come back, even if nth about the game updated.

You may want to occasionally take a look in the The "what did just update?" sticky thread to easier spot what a specific notification is about.

Lots of people are experiencing problems with the update flag right now. Dragonsphere keeps raising the flag over and over again even though nothing is updated.

Is there a problem when the free games are updated? I recall a similar incident when Beneath a Steel Sky was updated.

Dunno. Only GOG knows for sure I guess, but if they did, you'd imagine they'd fix it. On the other hand, they seem to have stopped fixing things a long time ago, because the site update is "just around the corner". I assume they're working on Valve time ;-)

Meh. For me, it will always be Blizzard Time.

Hehe, of course there's also Microsoft time. Lots of companies seem to have a reputation for tardiness :-D
