Hi,I always tried to find old games that I played when I was little.
I've recognized almost all of them, except 2 that still haunt me (they could even be bad, but I'm curious).

Unfortunately, I only have few memories about them (we talk about 20 years ago), so this will be hard.
I have attached two approximate images based on what I remember.

------

Game1 tried on a friend's Apple computer one day:
EDIT: maybe not an Apple? See note

- the genre was scifi adventure.
You started in a room on a spaceship\spacestation while there was an emergency going.
I think I remember a reactor problem and you had to do something fast or.. die.
You could access other 2-3 screens.
I never managed to avoid death or exit the room lol.

- the image rapresents the first person view of the room, with some kind of panel on the left and a corridor on the right with 2 doors (the one at the end was locked).
I think this was the second screen of the game; in the first you could maybe see your room.

- the graphic was obviously more detailed than my image. Was the color even purple?

- there were some textual description and you had to type in commands to interact with the environment.

- I thought I could remember parts of the title, but they lead me nowhere (Time quest? Space quest? No, they're other games).

(EDIT
-I've noticed a problem: I played other games on my friend's computer, like Bubble Bobble and Prince of Persia.
Looking again at the screenshots, however, I remember seeing the DOS (IBM-PC VGA) or Amiga graphic and not the Apple\Mac one!
Weird, I was quite sure about it, but now..
or [url=http://www.mobygames.com/game/bubble-bobble/screenshots]here you can check the screens too.

- Also, probably the graphic was CGA, because I'm remembering pink+black+white+lightblue colors only.
EDIT)

-------

Game2 tried on a Commodore64 console, again one day only:
EDIT: game found by Ghorpm!

- the genre was fantasy-horror platformer, on the ghost&goblins style, but with even simpler graphic.

- I think that the game was fun, but I forgot almost everything.
I remember that among monsters, there were some weird white sitting figures that raised their hands to block your path. You had to jump over them to proceed.

- I cannot remember the hero at all (I've added it as a generic stick figure).

- I think you had lives and that you could collect items.

-------

Any clue? (O_o)

For the second game, I'm really not sure, but might it be Another World for the Commodore 64?

Same thing goes for the first one - could it be Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, or one of the opening missions in Star Trek the 25th Anniversary Edition?

Was game one Final Command ?

I thought that it might be Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy too, but isn't it a text adventure?
Frightmare for the second one? Watch it around 0:50, perhaps that's what you meant with hand rising?

Yes it was.

OMG Ghorpm.. I think you got it..and with almost no clues!
I somewhat recall the second screen now!
(exactly like my image.. LOL.. luckly there were those raising guys XD)

Now I recognize the flying faces and hands, the bullets, the devils, the angel statues..
The game seems quite hard, however, probably I didn't get very far.

Thank you! :D

I'm checking the other people suggestions, but for now they don't seem right.

Unfortunately it's not that. The graphic was less heavy, more stylized, with red\purple colors. (I don't know about plot)

Mmm, neither one of them. HGTTG seems text-only and ST is too graphically "advanced" than the entry
How's Star Trek game, anyway? Is it a good adventure?

You are welcome! To tell the truth I'm also a bit surprised that I nailed it but... it was the first thing that came to my mind :) The game is brutal. The first stages, while still difficult, are a bit easier because there is only one exit. Later there are a lot of branches and you don't even know where to go. I don't think I've beaten it neither... but perhaps it's a good time to get my good old C64 out of the cupboard? Although... the biggest challenge will be to find a cassette with Frightmare but what the heck, there are other great C64 games. Soooo... I think I know what I'll be doing this evening :D

PS I hope you'll find an Apple expert to find the other game! I can't help you with that one

I called a friend who knows a lot of games. He came with two suggestions:

Starbase
Starblade

Picture #9 from the first game is somewhat similar to your picture...

Although he is not sure if those games were ever released on Apple
That 1. seems so familiar to me but I can't put my finger on it. And it really reminds me of a NES adventure game with a similar premise and gameplay.

Wait, In the linked video description the longplay author says: "The C64 version does not have enough screens to actually reach the target time of 8:12 so it can never be finished" ..WTF lol! -_-'
Better play another version or other titles, then. ;)

LOL! Ok, so I won't even try to find it. At the moment I'm playing Demon's Kiss and I have a blast even though I get my ass kicked really early. I think it may be the first game (or at the very least one of the first games) that has a dynamic music - it gets more dramatic when you get hit for the first time during a combat and comes back to normal when you kill your opponent. It rocks!

phaolo: snip
Are you absolutely sure it's not just Space Quest 1? Because this screenshot matches your description (mostly colors!) nicely...
EDIT: And the game does start with an emergency!
EDIT2: watch the video. Perhaps you've seen VGA remake and assumed it's not it. Well, watch ega version :)

Thanks for the additional help, but unfortunately, none of them is right.
The main "mistake", is that those are all in third person, whilst my entry is in first!

I have also played to SQ1 with EGA graphic, so I already know it.
Unless my unknown game is some obscure spinoff...

P.S: did you play to Starbase 13?

That seems difficult too, even if that flail boomerang is quite handy.
Are you sure about the dynamic music? Until now I thought that the idea was used only years later.

Ahhh, please Titanium manage to remember it!! (+_+)

Might it have been Sentinel Worlds? I seem to recall it being very experimental for the time. Planetside was a top down view, but I can't seem to remember if there was a first person view on ship or not. x_X

In ship, with a first person box

Ship status view

Combat

There was probably lower res versions for CGA/EGA graphics, as I remember playing a monochrome version at one point.
