Not in, but thanks for your generosity, akhliber!
Haha, that novels question is a trick one to weed out us people who don't read long (more than 100 pages), boring books. The Amazing Spider-Man comics ftw! :P
Great input for a GA and the game looks nice too, good to support the Indie's. +1

In for Austrobogulator if you don't mind.

Songs:
1. American Pie The loss of any great musician is always something to be mourned and this song has always spoken to me.
2. One As an Ex-Marine I can remember so many severely wounded soldiers who felt like the subject in this song and no one should have to live like this. :-(

Books:
1. Hammer's Slammers series The Slammer Universe has so much potential and is so well written from the combatants point of view that it needs its own gaming universe!
2. Honor Harrington series I fell in love with this series during the first book and eagerly await ALL new entries! So much fun!

I've heard great things about Two Brothers, so I'd love a chance to play this game. Thank you to akhliber for making this giveaway possible! Here's my entry:

Songs
1. Peace of Mind by Boston - my favorite music genre is probably classic rock. When I was in high school I was pretty into it, and this was one of my favorite songs. One day it came onto the radio while I was driving to a celebration dinner for our cross country team winning the league championship. I was euphoric - couldn't have been happier. Still one of the best memories of my life. I just remember at that moment feeling like nothing else could bother me. I had a peace of mind. We had accomplished a big goal, and I just wanted to live in that moment and let the satisfaction sink in. Every time I hear this song ever since, I remember that moment of feeling like I was on top of the world.

2. November Rain by Guns N' Roses - another sentimental song for me. I loved it when I was a kid, and as I got older it was just one of those songs I listened to whenever I was feeling a bit down about something. The guitar solo is still one of my favorites ever. November Rain has a lot of nostalgic meaning for me, but it really is a great rock ballad. It reminds me of a couple moments in my life when I was feeling sad/regretful about something, but the feeling I get from listening to NR is positive.

Novels to adapt to video games
1. I'm a big adventure game fan, and one novel I've always dreamed of becoming a game is Gulliver's Travels. It has everything a great adventure game needs - different worlds/civilizations to explore, potential for various environmental/character-based puzzles, and maybe even some action/strategy elements. But there's a strong, funny, exciting narrative in that story that really suits the classic point and click formula.

2. Stephen King's The Dark Tower series would make one hell of an action/adventure/RPG/open world game. Wild settings and a vast array of characters, threats, challenges, etc. That kind of game where every move can mean life or death. The game that comes to mind which could be something of a template for a Dark Tower game (or series of games) is Clive Barker's Undying. There's nothing but potential here for deep storytelling integrated with whatever gameplay mechanics a developer would use.

Cheers and thanks again. :)
tempted to enter mate, but will remain out.
nicely done though!
Just giving this a little bump. If interest remains low, I may wrap this one up a little early. I think my entry requirements are scaring people off. ;)
Question 1:

1) Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim theme. I love the under-current of the theme in the music. It tells a story. And although the song changes for each version, there's this river of music that runs through them all with that beautiful Elder Scrolls theme that makes you want to play, read or adventure.

2) Star Wars Theme. It reminds me Star Wars, but also playing TIE Fighter and the fun times I had trying to get it to work on my old machine when it came out.

Question 2:

1) Kingdoms of Bone and (Ash?) -- Bone and something. 4 books in the series by Greg Keyes. It would be a fun fantasy world to play in. The way he writes makes the fantastical creatures amazing to meet. If you could get that feeling in a game, it'd be awesome. Every time you meet a dragon in a game these days, it's just a large-scale creature. Nothing new. Nothing big. But if the designers could make some common fantasy creatures vastly different -- something to be really afraid of (but also beatable), then that would be spectacular.

2) Enders Game. For the past 15 years, I've been wanting to play this one. You could have the battles, the game with the giant, or both -- oh, and the battleschool laser-tag.

Thanks for the chance!
I have to do 3 songs (SORRY!). Disqualify my if needed.

Carried Away by Tulpa, Atlas & Henry Krinkle: The experience of LSD + Ecstasy in music form. Since I don't do those things anymore it's a very nice thing to have.

Precious Stone by Richard Ashcroft: My favorite singer. The song was given to me by a beautiful woman I once knew, so it reminds me of her. It's also just a completely awesome song.

Angel Echoes by Four Tet: Another beautiful piece of music, it just gives me peace.

As for the books:
This Book is Full of Spiders by David Wong (the 2nd book in a sort-of series, following John Dies at the End). Not sure exactly what kind of game it would have to be though (gameplay-wise).

Imajica by Clive Barker. Definitely an RPG. Follwing the number 2 theme, um, it was so good I nearly pooped when I read it!
***CLOSED***
