Both already voted some time ago. I must confess that Army Men series really plunges me into confusion: so many titles...

RevolutionSphere: My favourite Army Men game was Toys in Space
The main thing I really disliked about it was how many hits enemies could take. Already this little fact alone made it the least fun Army Men game to me (at least in the original 2D series). The pacing was just ruined by this and thus the whole game kinda exhausting and boring.

Dude! In space bullets only do 1/10th the damage they do on Earth! Duh!

Wouldn't the opposite be true seeing as how the bullet can go faster, more accurately and with unlimited range?

Don't question me, I have it on the authority of a very famous scientist that bullets cause less damage in space! :P

I never played the campaign mode, just always played skrimish

I aslo remeber one glitch, where you could play as a zombie.

Another thing I remebered is where on the maze skrimish map if you set grey as your enemy all he would use is spiders and if you turned on the zombie mode, you could spawn trap them there and about 20 mintues later the whole spawn area would be covering with zombies. Ah good times

Dang, I almost never played skirmish in any Army Men game because of the disappointing AI. It may be based on a few specific examples, though, where the AI glitched and left such a bad impression that I thought the mode was broken and not worth playing. Frankly it was so long ago, though, that I'm not sure what my experiences with skirmish mode actually were. But oddly enough I think that I do remember that out of all Army Men games Toys in Space had the best skirmish mode and I played it more than in any other game (I'm not sure which Army Men games officially had that mode but I remember also playing it in at least one entry that officially didn't have it by playing multiplayer alone).
I never was a fan of the series, but I voted for both - if it makes you happy :-)

With a lack of atmosphere and a low gravity it takes less energy to put the victim's whole body in motion in the bullet's direction and thus the bullet's piercing effect is reduced, duh!

DIE!

YAY!

Anyway, living in Germany at the time I loved the series because its scenario was a brilliant way to sneak hardcore violence into the German game stores (gibbing, dismemberment, burning people!). I'm shocked that not all Germans appreciate the series for this.

And yeah, I'm being a little sarcastic. I mean, I loved the black humor and over the top violence mixed with toy soldiers but it wasn't actually a serious reason why I loved the series. Although it did contribute to its style and satirical value.

In that case... WE NEED ARMY MEN: TOYS IN SPACE ON GOG!
Or at the very least I could head over to my old place, grab the disc, and pray that the game will work fine on Windows 7.
A full on GOG Army Man MP skirmish. I'd like that. :D

I would so happy if it got on gog, I also have my old copy lying about somewhere it should work. If not I know a shop near me that should sell it dirt cheap :)
