Charge into the weekend with [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/nordic_charge]this selection of all-time greats from Nordic Games, all 50% off this weekend!

Gothic II Gold Edition offers everything that should be present in an adventure RPG--massive and interactive world, non-linear story, excellent atmosphere, lovable and dislikeable NPCs, and finally, the chance to do everything how you please: as a ruthless killer, a protective paladin, or a neutral character. You can play this game over and over again, exploring new possibilities and quests each time (especially with the Night of the Raven expansion bundled). Once you’re done with saving the world, fight more threats and complete more quests in Gothic 3 and Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods. All Gothic titles published by Nordic Games are $4.99, this weekend only.

In case boring games give you headache, Painkiller Black Edition will pump you up with insane amounts of adrenaline, once insane amounts of enemies straight from hell will try (and fail) to stop you from having some fun. Everything about this FPS is great: masterfully designed environments, variety of demonic minions, 14 incredible weapons, including the famous gun that “shoots shurikens with lightning”, and gargantuan boss battles. Black Edition includes Painkiller and expansion pack Battle out of Hell. If Painkiller charged you a cent for every bullet fired, you’d be broke after saying “I haven’t had that much fun since Heretic and Quake”. Fortunately, Painkiller Black Edition is available on GOG.com for only $4.99 until Monday, April 23rd at 11.59 p.m. EDT.

Spellforce: Platinum includes the original Spellforce: The Order of Dawn and both the expansions - Spellforce: The Breath of Winter and Spellforce: Shadow of the Phoenix. Spellforce is a great blend of the action and tactics of an RTS with an immerse role-playing experience. Lead your armies through spectacular battles and experience thrilling adventures. Mixing RTS and RPG may be tricky but Spellforce succeeds on so many levels that two fantastic sequels: Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars and Spellforce 2: Dragon Storm were created and, luckily for gamers, are both available on GOG.com. Get the complete Spellforce collection 50% off, while each of the games is $4.99.

Dark Fall: The Journal and the sequel Dark Fall: Lights Out will provide a few decent scares, especially because both supernatural adventures are available for $2.99 each. If you enjoy military simulations grab Panzer Elite SE, extremely historically accurate simulation with lots upon lots of equipment specifications. The Guild Gold Edition, on the other hand, will train you to use blackmail, kidnapping, sabotage or buying your way into a higher position in the government as means to simple earn some more money. Find out how to become a businessman in the late Middle Ages for $4.99.

Check all the titles from Nordic Games available this week and pick your favorite, but remember that this offer ends next Monday, April 23rd on 11.59 p.m. EDT.
Nice promo GoG. Some good games there.
Well, a big and varied selection of games, 4 to 5 stars rating (except for Gothic 3). But I have a big backlog and not one of them are wishlisted so I'll pass.

Btw, if you want a more "casual" game, go for Neighbours From Hell. Fun is guaranteed!

JMich: Developer and Publisher are Piranha Bytes, not Nordic Charge :(

Sashh: Oh, ok. Wanted to check out the series, but tha't not enough pressing to buy it for 10$.
Keep in mind that Gothic never goes on sale here (not even during Christmas), so if you want to play it you'll have to bite the bullet and get it full price.
Games that i don't own from the catalogue : Gothic 3 bundle , Spellforce 2 bundle .

Fred_DM: normally this wouldn't bother me but since they're mostly German productions i'd like to be able to play them in German. the Gothic series is German through and through.
This is true. Though, to be fair, I didn't really notice that much of a difference with voice acting. I like the English one because it uses unproven actors who produce one of the most "down to earth" feeling that IMO only improves on the atmosphere. It just feels different, you know?

I've been wondering about that. I have the full German boxed version and was mildly curious about the English translation. I would have been tempted to get it at $5, but there's no way I'm paying the full $10 for a game I already have.
Chaser is on sale third time since released on GOG and - again - in a bad time for me. :(
Hmm, of the two I don't have, I might actually grab Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition since it's on sale as much as it will probably ever be. I have a physical copy of Gothic 3, so I probably won't grab that one.

I know G3: FGEE is the lowest rated game on here, but it looks like most of the ratings are based on the initial release and not the GOG release, which I've read is patched up to make it playable. :)

Heck, technically King's Quest IV had a game-breaking bug on release (the waterfall lockup bug in the SCI version). I still have the 3 1/2 disk that Sierra sent to me to patch up the game. I might even have the letter they included, too. Granted, that's one bug compared to many. :)

I actually looked into that when I was starting to get impatient. The last sale I cold find was in 2009, and it was only for 20% or 25% off.
I only own Painkiller Black. Which I like. If I was to pick up just one from this promo; what should it be?
The first thing I thought I heard when I saw The Guild on sale? TheJoe saying "The Guild! On Sale! Buy it NEOW!!"

So I'm going to buy The Guild. I remember what I said about buying more than I planned this weekend so I'm going to do some pruning and buy a couple more games that are on my wishlist (Lands of Lore for sure).

Does anyone know if there are any problems when installing The Guild on linux (Ubuntu)?
I own the Gothic 1,2,3 on GamersGate. Any advantage on buying here on GOG?
