Jack Orlando, Two Worlds series, Earth 2100s series, and Knights and Merchants: Now with FLAC soundtracks, 60% off this weekend!

This weekend, we offer you GOG's entire [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/topware_weekend_promo_040714]TopWare catalog 60% off, and you'll find that many of the games have been updated with exquisite new bonus content. Take Knights & Merchants, a medieval real-time strategy with in-depth society simulation and epic-scaled armies. Even though the game came out in 2001, a community of talented fans doesn't stop in their effort to, fix and tweak it, make it enjoyable for the modern gamer, and support it with all the features the fanbase demands. All this goes towards a impressive mod, called KaM Remake. Get the game for only $2.39 check out the mod, and witness the magic of PC gaming community! The game now comes with a new official soundtrack, in both high-quality MP3 and FLAC format.

Not really fond of historical setting? Would you rather take a plunge into a fantastic realm quite different than our reality? The magical land you'll be visiting in Two Worlds: Epic Edition should easily satisfy all your escapism needs with its vast and lush gameworld, visuals that remain quite impressive even today, and a well-told story that often lets you digress from its main thread. The Epic Edition we offer you, comes bundled with the game's both expansions: Tainted Blood and Curse of Souls. Yours for only $3.99, complete with the new FLAC/MP3 soundtrack, a poster, mocap session footage and additional sketches (the two latter supplied by our user sim2er)!

Fantasy not really your thing? Well, how about some hard science fiction, then? Earth 2140 Trillogy, Earth 2150 Trillogy, Earth 2160--or the Earth 21-something series, as we like to call it--offer top-notch RTS gameplay in a gritty futuristic setting, at $2.39 each! New MP3/FLAC soundtracks have been added to Earth 2140 and Earth 2160, and the latter also received a "making of" documentary.

We've saved the best for last! Jack Orlando: A Cinematic Adventure - Director's Cut tells a story os a private investigator that has seen better days. He's down on his luck and tends to hit the whiskey bottle a little too often, to ease the existential pain. But he’s one of the good guys. He’s actually the one to show some moral fiber in the city that consumes the poor, corrupts the innocent, and spits out the weak. Too bad he ended up in a wrong place at the wrong time and got accused of murder. The game comes with one of the best gaming soundtracks in history. Composed by Harold Faltermeyer it delivers all the old-fashioned lounge jazz one would expect from a noir movie, and sets the perfect mood for the 1933 gritty murder-mystery adventure. You can have this exceptional piece of gaming music in MP3/FLAC format bundled with the game for only $2.39. Highly recommended!

Of course, that's not all of the excellent titles you can find 60% off in our TopWare Reloaded promo this weekend, so head out to the promo page and pick your favorites. The offer lasts until Tuesday, July 8, at 3:59AM GMT.

NOTE:
We're currently in the process of uploading all the new bonus content. It might take a while before all the goodies show up on your shelves, but they will get there today!

tinyE: Can anyone tell me about Gorky 17? It looks great but it it's too much like the Jagged Alliance games I'm going to have to pass because those games have always been way to difficult and complicated for me; yes I know, I'm slow. :P

triock: I thought every game is too difficult and complicated for you! O.o
shut up :P XD

Niggles: Mine too. I swear these topware games go on sale several times a year...
I thought as the summer sale finished that the following weekend promo would be Topware! does the Topware weekend promo follow many or all of the big sales or is that just my imagination playing tricks?

Combat in this one is somewhat similar to JA but it is much simpler game. You only have small group of soldiers and move from area to area, you don't have to choose your direction on big map. Combat maps are also much smaller (usually only screen size) and number of combatabts is also a lot lower. Even equipement is much simpler than in JA.
Combat can be quite difficult often (at least that's what people say, I find it acceptable) but it is not complicated in terms of understanding.
Overall I had fun with the game back in the time but also check forum if you consider it, I think some people mentioned troubles running it. (I didn't have any)

$2, might as well snag it and also I trust you. I'll pick that up along with the Pinball game there and call it a weekend. A VERY BUSY weekend. OT but for inn keepers in resort towns in the States this is sweeps week so if I start acting stranger than I usually do, it's lack of sleep and over work. PLEASE FORGIVE ME! :P
Knights & Merchants and epic scaled armies?

Have you ever played that game? ^^

You hire soldiers one by one and rarely have more than 100 soldiers at any given time

MoP.475: Don't listen to mrking, Jack Orlando is a lovely game. Then again, much of the loveliness for me came from the Polish voice acting, but the music is still there at least. That's one nostalgia heavy game.
Second this.
Sure, it's much better as non-DC version, but the one on GOG is decent enough :)

Haven't played Hopkins FBI, have you? :)

Nice weekend promo, some great games at a nice price. Also, thanks for the FLAC soundtracks and other new bonus content additions, I love bonus content and goodies!
Yes, the great music of Jack Orlando is finally here! :D

Cheers for all the other new goodies as well! :-)
really nice goodies...thanks for the additions...
Hey GOG, can you please find out what the deal with this is:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/253860/

Steam apparently have a version of Earth 2140 which supports widescreen resolutions, and we don't...
Already have all the games I'm interested in this promo. Humm, someone knows if Knights and Merchantes have a mod to remove the combat part and leave only the city management one? (I like to do the city part but hated the combat, is tedious to keep carrying food to the soldiers all the time...)

Yes. I've also noticed that TopWare games on Steam have multiple languages, whereas apparently GOG versions do not. (I feel deja vu when talking about this; maybe it was already addressed as regional restrictions or something.)

Thanks, GOG, for the nice promo and the additional bonus content. After Insomnia and the Summer Sale, I thought my wallet might be safe for a few months, but there are a couple of games here still on my wishlist and I might pick a few up because, well... just because.

This might have been resolved today since there was an update for this game on gog today.
