Tiefood: Tiberian Sun
I loved Tiberian Sun's visuals! Had a pretty strong atmosphere as well.

Here are some more from my nr1 favorite:

shawnlee96: Trippy one.
I'll add

- PixelJunk Eden
- Botanicula (all of Amanita's games are visually striking, love the art style)
- Crystal Caliburn Pinball (way back in the day - 1993!)
- Oddworld Series
A lot of old vector games like Tempest, Black Widow, Battlezone, Star Wars, Star Trek...

Robotron - Very fast game with bright colors yet clear gameplay. (I really like the graphics of the classics because they were more abstract back then.)

Metal Slug - IMO the peak of pixel art and animation.

Zelda: Wind Waker, Jet Set Radio Future - I love cel-shading.

I really like how Klei's games look because of their cartoony art direction and smooth animation.
To revive this thread, anyone played LSD (PS1) ?
games, don't know...

But the French Prime Minister , as aired on TV yesterday, was mesmerising for sure :

shawnlee96: Its a survival game.
I don't know why people call it that. It's a stealth game / third person shooter. That the plot is about the survivors of a zombie apocalypse doesn't make it any different than say Hitman: Absolution or Metal Gear Solid 4 and the game belongs in the exact same genre as those two titles.

I did. Meh. Weirdness alone doesn't make a game good. And it looks just like a terrible PSX era game, not some artistic masterpiece with brilliant art direction.

And I'll throw in a weird suggestion: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. The whole game is made to look like... I don't know what they were really going for, actually. The statements by the press ranged from cheap 80's action flicks to snuff films. It's supposed to look like a VHS tape, some recording with terrible production value. There's lots of video artifacts, a highly shaky camera etc.. In motion (and combined with an insane soundtrack by German artist Mona Mur) it had a hypnotizing effect on me, quite a surreal experience.

Any of the older Tomb Raider games. The new ones gave Lara a breast reduction, worst sequel ever.

Those pointed tits she had in 1 made me pitch a tent.
