For Interplay and GOG to do a big sale or giveaway of Fallout as a "screw you" to Bethesda when they (inevitably) take them down

tinyE: Says the guy with the quasi-Nazi Wolfenstein death mask avatar. :P

dr.schliemann: I was just wondering if it would be appropriate to switch to something more tender and christmas-oriented. What do you say? ;-)
Hmmm, I still have that pic of the mouse committing necrophilia. That's more tender and Christmas-oriented; it says I love you despite the fact that you are dead.

Ah, your bottomless archive of graceful, educative photographs! The Miskatonic University would be proud of it.
Albion, just Albion. That would be a very nice release from GOG and act as a nice gift to strengthen the Christmas spirit.
A good sale with a few surprises

nijuu: A good sale with a few surprises
I think you'll get your wish starting tomorrow (or Wednesday). :)
*gets on hands and knees and begs GOG to throw a few surprises as well* - last years xmas sale got extremely boring after GOG revealed all the bundles in one hit...in the middle of the sale :/
Couple of nice indie games (Blocks that matter, Tetrobots & co, Super Meat Boy, The binding of Isaac, Voxatron and lots of others)

But what I want the most is, obviously, GOG supporting Linux.
It's been some time since my last letter to Santa.

- Gunship 2000
- Aces over the Pacific
- Aces over Europe
- Steel Panther series
- The entire Infocom catalog
- Chuck Yeager's Air Combat
- A serious chess game to replace Chessmaster or simply a Chessmaster title again.
- Lemmings
Freebies are always appreciated, but most of all I want them to release Albion.

I think they did that because the Steam sale was going to start the next day right?
Gog gift cards.

From what it sounds like yes. But as a result imho, it spoiled the rest of the sale for me. nothing else to look forward to, no surprises nothing

There is only one game here that I really want to have this Christmas. Really. I can't afford it so... yeah. It's Valdis Story: Abyssal City. It's on my wishlist. Just this one.

On the other hand, that did make the sale better for me. I knew how much I would spend on GOG, I knew there would be no more deals that I must have, so I could balance my budget a bit better for the rest of the sales (plus non-games). Add to it the fact that I didn't have to check if there were any new deals, so it was a more relaxed sale. Same as the insomnia sale, didn't see anything I wanted in the first run, so I could safely ignore it ;)
