Wishbone: I haven't played it myself, but from what I know of it, it sounds like what you want to play is Red Dead Redemption.

jjsimp: That would be a console game. I would want it on the PC.
GUN is on the PC and it's actually a pretty decent Old/Wild West game.

As for game 'fusions', pretty much does that, already. I would like to see a game with the amazing writing of the old D&D Infinity Engine cRPGs with the stylized graphics, comic book art style and innovative gameplay mechanics of Tiny & Big in Grandpa's Leftovers, though.
An XCom game set in the Shadowrun universe. The only thing is I don't know if the more 3D approach of XCom Enemy Unknown or the isometric approach of Shadowrun Returns would be better for the tactical stuff. I'd say the latter if it meant that it would have the destruction of XCom Apocalypse.
All these baldur, neverwinter, icewind dale things should have the temple of elemental evil interface.
Super Smash Brothers is fine and all, but I still have to wonder why the Mario gaiden games haven't evolved to include all their other franchises.

Oh, and FTL+Starbound.

Skyrim with GTA. Too much traffic? Fus Ro Dah! Cops are chasing you? Odahviing! Just want to have fun? Strun Bah Qo!
Manhunt and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

How's the combination? Oh, it's just Manhunt, but plays on newer machines too.

Navagon: An XCom game set in the Shadowrun universe...
So much this!

Also, I'd like a Chaos Overlords type game with the narrative depth and RPG gameplay of The Witcher 2; I think Cyberpunk 2077 might be in that direction, but time will tell.
