I can sort of see the OP's concern: if it's 50% off for individual and 75% off for the whole bundle, you feel like a bit of a fool if you just buy one or two that you actually want, since the price difference is so big. If it wasn't that big - say, 50% off for singles but a bundle gives you 60% off the set - then it would feel like more of a perk when you buy the bundle than an act of lunacy when you don't.
