ET3D: Did you consider the Shadowrun games a quick cash grab from the Shadowrun community (and so on for other projects with established communities)?
No, but I find it difficult to recommend projects that have the backing of private investors + $300k from the public, especially when they're asking for $1m five months later for a subscription-based game - just a few reasons amongst others.

Yeah it's rare to see a Kickstarter come this close to meeting its goal, only to fall shy of a few dollars before the deadline hits.
