It's free, has a multiplayer mode, tough bosses like Jack Keane and the thrill that will literally keep you awake for days.

(No, seriously, there are hundreds of games from dozens of genres and to name ONE/three/ten/whatever best of them would be hard if possiblw at all. Each game is unique in some aspect. Just find what you like, get it, install - and for a couple of hours/days/weeks this game will be the best one for you).

VR Soccer 96. It's an incredibly heartbreaking and dark story of a boy who wants to be the best soccer player in the world, and he will do anything to achieve his dream.

Including buying and playing VR Soccer 96! It had me in tears.

Deus Ex is kinda low there, but even so I approve of the list.

I don't care. Deus Ex should still be first.
If you want to know why, it's because it's bat... I mean, it's vision is augmented. And it's awesome.

Which reminds me, that I still have to play it :)... But first I should begin to finish some of the games where I'm in the middle of.

I think the best is Deus Ex. It is a FPS/RPG hybrid in a near-future dystopian setting.
It is really freakin' great. It allows quite a lot of freedom and choice, which I really enjoy, and has allowed me to enjoy many replays.

Btw. I think I'd recommend Jade Empire first. It's pretty new and it's easy to learn, great story.
It's about that:
