I think it's definitely a name of a weapon... hammer possibly :o) but I'm pathetic at remembering these things, at the moment I play Lionheart a lot, I have about 5 unique weapons in my backpack and I still don't remember any of their names...

it was "created" long time ago, when I attended elementary school at which time my nickname was "Kuny" (possibly derived from my first name Kuba, I don't remember the details anymore, could originate at my age of 6-7, so...)

I visited my friend and he showed me a wonderful new game he had - Civilization 1! I was absolutely stunned so I borrowed it and installed it on my home computer... when I started it for the very first time, I had to decide which nation I want to play as... there were two reasons I chose the glorious Russia - it had the greatest "theme" music and also a plain white colour (didn't want to play as girly blue Americans, he he :)

now when the game asked me for the name of their leader, I was trying to enter a name that would sound Russian.

Paingiver is the name of the main villian in the game. While none of the developer's games are here on GOG, this one included, I imagine this makes you an RPG fan if it's the correct game.
