Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate, Arcanum, Anacrhonox, Panzer General 2, The last Express, Wing Commander series, King of Dragon Pass, King's Bounty (ran well on my 3ghz single core, 3gb ram, 256mb GeForce 7600 computer, not sure if it will run on yours), Etherlords, Freespace 1 & 2, Might & magic 3-5 & 7-8, Dungeon Keeper, System shock 2.
Just a few suggestions that I could get to run just fine on a similar computer.

Best of luck with that. The first game wasn't that badly optimized, but Clear Sky in particular is abhorrent. It gives even my GTX 560 Ti OC based rig a run for its money.
Personally, if I had a computer like that, I would swallow my pride and stick to oldies that I could run comfortably rather than push the boundaries of what the hardware is capable of.

If you're into TBS, most games in that genre should work - The HoMM games, MoO1-2, King of Dragon Pass,Disciples, etc. All have pretty low demands .
