I'd gifted it to my friend a long time ago because I owed him money..he has 8,000 passwords for everything (really counter productive) so he forgot his account info here..hasn't bothered to try and get it since..I find this all very annoying so I was eager to give it to someone who would appreciate it.

Good for you..lucky! How is it? I've been meaning to try the games before the new ones hit consoles and the DS/PSP.

Duke Nukem? I expected it to play somewhat like Doom, but I was delightfully surprised with how...'stylish' it is. Btw, what do you mean by "the new ones"? AFAIK, Duke Nukem franchise and 3DRealms are dead. :(

Nope, they are making a new one for Xbox360 I believe, and the DS and PSP are getting one as well. Jetpacks and pig men thingies.

Duke 3D was a milestone in the history of FPS design, and is still a lot of fun today. There's a high-resolution pack available for it that updates the graphics, so if sprite shooters hurt your eyes, it won't be a problem.
