StingingVelvet: If they did regional currency it it would surely be a one-to-one conversion, so you're saving money this way.
Not for the Vietnamese.

Let's not pick on the OP too much. He's in the beginning of a wonderful phase of life. We call it fiscal education. When he gets to chapter 5 - inflation and the dangers of unprotected sex, well... it will blow his mind.
I think I remember seeing screenshots of GOG with other currencies, has this been changed recently?

The Witcher 2, The Witcher 3, Age of Wonders 3. Not sure if prices are charged in $ or local currencies though.

And that right there is probably why they aren't doing it.

When you use one currency, everybody can figure out sort of how much it's going to be, but when they're offering dozens of options, that means that they'd have to be changing the prices constantly in order to keep it at a 1:1 conversion.

There's also the issue of needing accounts to take all the various currencies they're accepting. Which is an added piece to keep track of as well.

That was probably during the regional pricing scandal before they pulled back on it.

Gotcha. I get where OP is coming from though, it's kinda inconvenient to have to convert to your currency. You can have "one world, one price" but display the prices however is desired.

I get Euros all the way to checkout for TW3 (in contrast to what the situation was for AoW3), but AoW3 had reverted to USD, and apparently also flat pricing.

AoW3 is on promo, so the price is the same for everyone. Same thing had happened with The Witcher 2.

AoW3 Standard Edition had since release and still has a nominal price of $39.99, while AoW3 Deluxe Edition of $44.99.
What kind of promo is this that offers zero discount to those charged in USD?

What am I missing?

Flash sale mechanics. AoW 3 is in the flash deals rotation, so it goes from 0% when off to 25% (or is it 33%?) when on flash sale. I assume on the 30th it will return to regional pricing.

Slut!

ps. The Swedish "slut", not the English one ;P
I wonder if this could be done via the grease monkey script someone wrote for GOG (Sorry about forgetting who you are or the name of the script), it could display the price in US and when you hover over it display in other currency while showing it is an estimate. Say "Approx. $12 Can".

Or maybe there are already addons that do that.

Novotnus: You should read some regional pricing topics from some months back...
Most people around here want one price in one currency :)
me 2 :)
