The other day I saw that there was a 50% discount on Interplay games so I thought "Yeah ill grab myself some Starfleet Command games" , but sadly nothing. SFC 1,2 and Orion pirates ARE gog in my opinion so is it possible in the near future for you to include these wonderful games?

Well SFC1 was developed and published by Interplay so I don't see any problems here.
SFC2 and Orion Pirates where published by Interplay but developed by Taldren but they fell apart in 2003 and some Taldren developers left the source code to dynaverse moderators so I think that these two games shouldn't represent a problem.

But did Interplay sell of parts of it?

That I don't know but since they manage to put Fallout 1 and 2 here surly they can do something about SFC.
I'd love them here, too, but you've also got Paramount and whomever has the rights now - for the MMO to consider/chase/ask.

Whether they have the rights for the entire history, or just for that MMO is another matter - you'd then have to chase down previous devs/publishers....

Possible shortcut would be to pester Paramount for that info, I suppose....but don't go holding your breath :(
Atari currently have the rights to make Star Trek games. Star Trek is owned by Paramount who grant the licenses. Activision own Starfleet Command. Therefore for GOG to release it or any of the Simon&Schuster, Interplay or Spectrum Holobyte games they have to make an agreement with Paramount and probably get permission from Atari as well. Messy.

It's the same reason the Ubisoft owned SSI D&D games are not on GOG.
Mwahahaha Orion Pirates is now mine along with Starfleet command 1 (I can get rid of the copy of Command 1 I "acquired" a few years ago now)
