Does Pale Moon support FF26 addons?

Is that so bad? FF26 doesn't feel old, nor it's uncomfortable..
Can't Mozilla just update the base graphics, but leave the fully customizable UI? (the main reason why I'm using FF)

Um.... The old UI was nowhere near fully customisable. Addons helped tho.

Unless there was something added in Firefox between 26 and 28 that broke the addons you're interested in then Pale Moon should work fine with them.

Firefox still supports the extensions I added to it and that's about all I expect of it. Other people's workflow is different so I can see why so many hate the change. Quite frankly, I'm glad the orange button is gone. The replacement menu is weak and I'd prefer the old bookmarks buttons but it's not the end of the world.

Ironically, Firefox on Android used to be dire while the default Android browser and Chrome were the best that the platform had to offer. The default browser on Android is a bit low on features (no surprises there) and Chrome has become extremely bloated and unstable of late. I installed Firefox on my Android tablet recently and was positively surprised how stable and fast it has become.

Switch to Pale Moon and never look back.

This browser made me love mozilla-based architecture again.

Your disenchantment mirrored mine with Opera from version 12+ onwards, after having been a die-hard loyalist to the browser for the past 13, 14 years. I've had to write the browser off now. I still like the build in version 11.11, but it can't remain secure or compatible with many modern websites for long.

Thankfully, we have many "indie" browsers out there to fulfill our particular needs and quirks. Take a good long look. Try Softpedia for a start.

Good Firefox 29 allowed to switch on title bar back. I just hate when application doesn't have that one (huh Microsoft? Outlook 2010!). I also turned on classic menu bar and now it looks pretty much as before.

I don't know if it's just me but I'm under the impression that it works slower than 28 and does more i/o operations on hdd.

I don't mind that they changed the look. What I did take exception to, was the fact that you couldn't move the browsing buttons where you wanted to on the tool bar. They appear to be fixed in their locations. Considering it was touted as being more "customizable" you would think that feature would be in the new version as well...

Ok, it just landed.

Not too bothered except that I liked a favourites dropdown that doesn't also allow me to accidentally bookmark the page I'm on. Doesn't look like there's a way to get rid of that.

Fantastic. It's absolutely fantastic.
Inattention ruined my fast, stable and practical browser. I just shouldn't update it. But even after I got rid of nicey-shiny thing and re-installed FF 28, it started to lag a little. I don't know why and what to do. Damn.
Burn in hell, marketers. Another good browser became Chromium-like fancy-trendy rubbish.

I like it way more now, and it's really customizable anyway so it shouldn't leave much room to complaints.
