I'm going through threads and replying to ones I likle. The board is dead at night so why worry?

Because it's annoying -- especially when people don't notice the original post date. The thread was dead so just make a new one. It's less confusing to everyone all round.

Lots of people necro old threads here...you're only complaining because I did it. BTW if I made a new thread for all the topics I read about on old threads people would be more pissed off, don't you think?

We have already a thread about gems, so there is really no need to make or neco a new one for every little topic. To scatter a topic on many threads only messed up the forum and brings nothing to any discussion.

I didn't mean it that way. I meant it's better to necro threads I like to reply to them than make a new topic for every thread I want to reply to's topic to avoid necro'ing in the first place.

Sorry to burst you're "the whole world hates me" bubble, but no. I'm not complaining just because you did it. I'd have questioned the need to have replied to this two year old dead topic regardless of who had necroed it.

speaking of necroing, how old has the thread be to be considered necroed when someone replies to it?

To me it's necroing when the thread is so old that the OP is no longer around and/or nobody cares about the original issue anymore and/or you can't add anything useful to the old discussion.

I think it's a matter of common sense...

Many do that here on occasion, or make stupid threads I don't like but I usually ignore them like a sane person...so ya know what i'm gonna do now? I'm gonna low rate(once) and report all the crap spam/useless threads people make, to be fair and all.

Of course i'm not doing it to be nasty to anyone......so don't think too much into it.

BTW what was everyone's favorite parts in the game? Some of mine were the undergroundi-ish locked down research base, the mobile carrier bit, and a few others like the first levels. Also did you guys play stealthy or action-based with guns blazing?

Well, as a lazy GOGer who always plays all his games with walkthroughs and clue books, I am afraid yes I got the best ending :-D

Nice. I was happy with the ending myself, but wondered how the other ending would've played out. :\
