"In 1992, Wolfenstein 3-D revolutionized video games and created the 3D first-person shooter genre. Now, after decades of development, Wolfenstein 3-D has been converted to breathtaking, epoch-making 1-D. You can now play the game in a single, dazzling one-pixel line."

I like it. I like it very much.
The level design resembles Call of Duty to me.
HAHAHAHAHA
It's still better looking than the original Wolf on Apple//. Am I the only one who remembers playing that mess?!

Wow, it's uncensored and accessible even with a German IP! Now I can finally play it. ;)
and only $35 for the rest of the episodes. Let me write down that address.

Anybody of you played the recent Call of Duty games?
Did the original also use the same sound effects as commander keen?

Austrobogulator: HOT DOG!!
Haha! Yeah, it always sounded like "hot dog" to me too. I guess it is actually supposed to be "Achtung!", but with the low sound quality it is difficult to say at times.

I've always said that the FPS genre hasn't really changed since Wolfenstein.

> Implying that MW3 and BLOPS2 don't have corridor levels

ok, maybe there are few wider areas in BLOPS2, but just because you have door A and B doesn't make the game suddenly non linear and open.

Play at least Hell's Highway and compare.

PS. I don't know why you feel the urge to jump into every thread somebody says anything about your "favourite games", but my previous post fits perfectly to every COD game except maybe BLOPS2. But yeah, give a hamster a bigger cage, and it'll piss itself from joy.

Well, Black Ops 2 has a branching storyline .... just so you know.

Not arguing about MW 3 (although it is more open than MW 2)
