bansama: It doesn't matter what they have done, the point is, they don't promise you constant access to your account. And in your example of cable TV (which I don't bother with by the way), if there's a billing problem, then yes, the provider would be entitled to cut you off much in the same manner that a steam account can be disabled.
The majority of Valve's "TOS" are as enforcable as a contract where you agree to give me permission to kill you in exchange for a bouquet of flowers, which we all know is ludicrous, no matter *how* nice the flowers are.
PS, avoid flaming other users, especially report-happy ones like myself. You can disagree with my course of action, but since you do not know the full story, and I do not intend to share it, you have no basis with which to JUDGE that course of action. And since there is likely a pending lawsuit, I am not exactly going to "tip my hand", so to speak.
