I'm noticing lotro and Neverwinter both run better in 8 than in 7, and the one game I have that wouldn't work in 8 at all, Heretic Kingdoms, I picked up on GOG to have 8's compatibility and now it runs fine.
I would be interested in learning more, last time I dabbled in 8.1 it seemed like it caused me a massive headache, though that could be from my guitar not behaving and not so much Windows.

Curiously enough, GOG supports Disciples on Vista and 8, but not on 7. On the other hand, Disciples 2 is not officially supported on Win 8 but on Win 7 (which reminds me that I need to test whether I'm still able to run it).

Does anyone know if DS 1 works with 8 or 8.1 these days?
