Hello,

I was happily exploring Murmurwoods, trying to find the Dark Elf Cauri in order to get the promotion, but found the other three pilgrins instead of her. I didn't even notice that someone in town gave me the scrolls to restore them and was using one each time.

Thinking that she was probably inside the dungeon Druid Circle (where juggernauts were destroying me hardly at that moment) I left, and finding a lonely and useless at that moment Stone to Flesh scroll in my inventory, I ended selling it.

After finally clearing Druid Circle, I noticed that Cauri was in fact in the world map and I have no further scroll to restore her. Normal magic book doesn't work and after trying in the shops of different towns I haven't been luckly to find one.

Any suggestion of what could I do to get one of those scrolls? How long take shops to renew their items, so I can keep trying?

One thing that "might" work is to visit the Oracle and select the I lost it dialog option. This is used to return quest items that you may dropped somewhere. Usually with quest items you won't be able to sell them so you may be out of luck on this one.

Stores restock roughly every 24 hours, iirc. Might be each week.

I'd suggest one of two options, depending on how much of a purist you are.
1) If you want to be the most legit, then simply check each shop in the world each time the restock could happen (24 hrs, 1 week, whatever it is). Use Town Portal and some strategically placed Lloyd's Beacons to quickly get from one shop to the next.

2) The faster way would be save scumming. Just save in front of your shop of choice, check inventory, then reload if you don't see what you want in their inventory. I'd suggest either Dagger Wound Island or Ravenshore for this. DWI has the advantage of not having higher tier items, which may make your particular item slightly more likely to show up than in Shadowspire (for example). I'd strongly suggest going with Ravenshore though, because there are two separate magic item shops right next to each other, so you can get twice as many random rolls per reload. Scan each shop's normal and special inventory for the right color of scroll, check each Expert spell scroll you spot, and reload if you don't see what you want.

I've tried the Oracle but sadly it didn't work. It only gave me quest items.

I will try the option of save scumming in Ravenshore and see if I'm lucky. My main character is a Dark Elf and it would be kinda dissapointing not to promote him.

EDIT: It worked relatively quickly. I managed to buy one extra scroll and finish the promotion quest.
