but heliotrope works wonders on the boss in ch2 (you know who I mean), he was down in a few seconds. so that's rather bad since I generally don't drink any potions, the combat is so skill-reliant and works without them so good, it's just not necessary anymore. but the 30% increase for the last boss would be nice. well, gotta try it in another runthrough. heliotrope/finisher combos are so much fun.
