If any of the team still reads this, some feedback from me.

The game was a total waste of time and money. There was nothing about it that I enjoyed. I understand you wanted to make it challenging. Instead, it was unbelievably frustrating. Hours upon hours of reloading just to get past a certain group of mobs, or to deal with what I consider a very poorly designed mechanic (e.g. I spent close to two hours wiping on the Kayran before I gave up for good and uninstalled the game) is not fun to me.

I will never buy another product from your company.

Have a good day.

Wow, this really wasn't your kind of game, huh?

Sorry it didn't hold your hand. Best of luck with your next purchase.

Don't beat around the bush here..

@ op. I've played both Witcher games and they have this in common: you are amply rewarded for making good decisions regarding your character build, preparation, etc. TW2 is pretty hard, but if you experiment with different tactics each time you get killed, and if you read the journal, you can get past most conflicts with minimal hassle, on med difficulty.
To answer the original OP's question from the topic subject: Yes, you are. Especially after they nerfed the prologue so much with several patches, you shouldn't have any problems apart from specific boss battles or encounters.

The key points are:
1) Use everything at your disposal (potions, oils, bombs, traps in order of importance - don't be afraid to spam them)
2) Don't engage multiple enemies at once - don't get surrounded, try to divide and conquer
3) Always keep moving and COVER YOUR BACK!
4) Use the fricking Quen sign (and watch the timer)

E.g.the Nekker cave in Act1 (Malena quest) really gave me some trouble the first time and I think it's not doable without bombs and traps, but once you use those cleverly, it's a piece of cake (conflagration is perfect).
