Although I am admittedly a huge cdpr fanboy, every bug you listed is 100% correct. I would have thought they would have at least fixed the bomb thing with the ee. It would add a lot to the game if you could strategically throw bombs at distant targets, and actually control which npc it would hit. Another one is the huge delay between hitting the throw button and Geralt actually throwing the knife or bomb.

The other complaints you listed were totally fair as well. Good job to you for actually making a realistic write up of problems that need to be fixed, not like some of the QQing going on, like, "it's too hard!" or "movement is complete shit" that we hear all the time.

Where I will differ with you is the degree to which I think these problems bring down the game. To me, while some are extremely frustrating, I think it is a testament to the overall quality of the game that it is still far and away widely recognized as one of the best modern PC action RPGs ever made. It is still my favorite game at the moment.

Still, when it comes down to it, some of these things are just so obviously defective that there really isn't an excuse for not fixing them. While I'm sure the ee will be great, I can't help but feel that this was a huge blown opportunity to finally fix some of the more well known problems with the game. There is no reason that the bomb system should be as sketchy as it is. Also, having to walk back and forth over a bag of loot 8 times in order to pick it up is lame. There are minor annoyances, but taken together they reduce immersion, and fixing them could help to make a great game even better.
Wow, was it really that buggy? I played at release and I don't remember encountering most of these issues. Then again I never tried to play it with a game pad.
I read thru your entire bug list and I can honestly say that I cannot recall ever experiencing a single "bug" that you have mentioned.

Wait a sec, on second glance I do agree with one thing you mentioned, the walking thru doorways part although I doubt that is a bug it's just how it was designed.

I think not all of them on your list are bugs, it just meant to be that way.
The medallion is meant to take a few seconds to work so you don't constantly spam it. After every use there is a short recharge period.
Combat controls are still unresponsive and the fact that the selection for spells with a controller is now a forced up and down scrolling motion instead of the directional flick that the game originally launched with is a horrible decision which takes way more time to pull off.

The lack of controller vibration is also nonsensical. Why does the 360 version control better in general anyway? What is it that's stopping them from porting that over to PC?
re the medallion: I think he meant that the medallion sometimes doesn't work when it should - that is, it randomly quits working in the manner of combat actions. I've run into the same issue. Quitting and restarting the game is the only fix I know of.
I agree with sear and some of his points. The others I can not comment on as I've not seen some of those bugs.

I do hope CD keeps polishing the game. The Witcher 2 is a great game though.
One I encounter frequently are NPCs walking into walls and objects during cutscenes, and sometimes they start to spaz out and twitch really fast.

Another isn't really a bug, but just looks wrong. During the council cutscene in Vergen, Geralt is placed too close to a chair and he clips through it.

One thing I find funny is that the better games look the easier it becomes noticeable that clipping is apparent.
