As of yet no, no word on patches or anything. Still waiting to hear any word on eta for the other video resolutions to be supported as well.
I'm sure they're working on one at this moment, but these things take a little time to create and test.
the indie dev that made Hydrophobia fixed this in a day btw.
Just think. If Logitech made decent drivers like virtually every other single USB Headset and Physical Soundcard manufacturer on the planet, then no dev would have to worry about. Indie, or not.

One fix on one company's part, or every game developer having to support 7.1 sound. Hrm.

;p
I heard 7.1 doesn't work with ANY device that supports it. its not just a Logitech thing I believe. The problem with Logitech is that we can't set the headphones to 5.1. At least with the other devices you can set them back to 5.1.

Right. But, virtually all other 7.1 devices use drivers that allow the user to downgrade to 5.1 or stereo. Which is why I made the comment about Logitech.

What's worse, is if you've followed this issue, as this is certainly not the first PC game ever not to support 7.1 sound, Logitech clearly has NO IDEA that the issue exists, as they have continued to tell their customers over the years that either:

1) 7.1 = 5.1
2) Clicking your switch on the headset turns it to stereo, when in fact all it does is emulate 7.1 sound into stereo.

I used to have a logitech G35 and this very issue long ago drove me batty at how stupid a purported "gaming" company could be.
